Integrated People and Skills Strategy

Global energy safety and skills organisation OPITO, on behalf of the UK oil and gas sector and with the support of the Energy Skills Alliance, published the Integrated People and Skills Strategy (PSS) to meet commitments of the North Sea Transition Deal. The PSS highlighted the benefits of a just and managed energy transition for the energy workforce, industry, governments and communities – and was an opportunity for OPITO to leverage support from companies, trade unions and governments to deliver real and enduring change for the workforce and communities.

We provided strategic insight to shape, inform and develop the PSS and utilised our copywriting and design expertise to deliver the strategy and corresponding action plans. We also delivered a comprehensive stakeholder engagement programme to support the strategy, undertaking more than 70 individual engagements. We worked alongside industry body OEUK to officially launch the PSS at its annual conference.
